Project Description
La Graiera Golf Course is located 65 km south of Barcelona.
In 1992 a European development group started a mixed-use residential project, with lots, Hotel and an 18 hole golf course, selecting our for designing an 18 hole golf course. The first phase was built from 1994 to 1996, following our design and instructions. Later on the course was finished to our 18 hole layout, but with design adjustments from Spanish golf course architect Enrique Saenger, former partner of our firm.
The course is a 72 par, being our first 9 holes a 3.267 meter par 36. Our design used the hilly area to create impressive holes, were elevation changes are of importance, and large contoured and shaped greens give the course an impressive character.
